I'm back! And rant on animes of summer 2016...

Heiii how is everyone? The heat of summer can only mean one thing at this time of the year.......... Binge-watch anime season!!! :D But in all seriousness I am so disappointed with this season's anime releases. I feel like the quality is slowly decreasing with every new season... And just to make it clear, no I don't watch all of the series from a season and don't plan to, because first I usually just "random sample" every new season anyways, and second I don't think it's (arguably) necessary to "watch-'em-all" to form an opinion about a certain season/series. Anyhoo, at least from some of the series I've watched the 1st eps of, they were shi- Maybe it's because I've chosen more action animes instead of slice of lifes or romance, but the action ones are reallyyyyyy bad not to my liking this season. Here, I'll do some mini first impressions of each:

Writing out some thoughts...

Hellu hellu~ how is everyone? So just a quick note/post to say that I'll be having exams until june ends so please don't expect a new post from me anytime soon ;; (sorry orz) Though I will be taking photoshooting my cos soon and posting them up onto my blog so do stay tuned! Recently it has been just stress upon stress *sigh* hopefully it will be better after all my exams have finish, I really need to get the grades >< And I think along with all the stress I feel more conscious about how I look nowadays and it's all getting to me again / _ ; (even though I've promised myself not to but it's kinda hard...) Anyhoo I'll end it here before it gets any more gloomy/depressing lol またね❤︎

[tutorial] making the wand from Daoko's MV: Girl (the easy way)

Hihihi I forgot to write a post last month but here's another cosplay tutorial to make up for it ><! I don't know if any of you reading this knows but one of my first cosplans of the year is to cosplay the character from Daoko's MV: Girl.  This time instead of making it, I decided to buy almost all of the cosplay, excluding the wand, due to time constraint. And I had to crack my head to think of a way to make the wand, I wasn't going to go into 3D printing or something fancy...it was difficult. But my sudden spark of geniusness helped me create it! (Lol) here's the tutorial: Materials/Tools you will need: *paper/polystyrene balls (20mm) *bamboo skewer *bandage (secret ingredient!!) *masking tape *newspaper *paint  *craft(funky) foam *acrylic gesso *pva glue *scissors (obvs) *glue gun *craft knife Base: 1) draw a rough sketch of the base of the wand on paper, for reference, I wanted mine to be a

Slice of Life~ Opticians rant/stop giving a shit~

Well hei, I've been a bit busy lately and only what happened to me today made me want to write another blog post lol. So get a cup of hot drink with you while you read this, I think it'll be a moderately long post (≖‿≖) (unless you want to get to the nitty gritty bit of this post, skip to the 4th paragraph) So. So, ok, I basically had an opticians appointment today, to check up on my contact lenses, and I thought I might as well choose some glasses to go with my new glasses prescription. I didn't choose the glasses last time I was there because I was unsure of which ones I wanted, it was between the retro/vintage(?) round frames (pictured below, which, they didn't have), or the glasses in the womens section of the opticians which were cheap but looked boring and fugly. :| (Yeah I've already got a pair but I don't fancy the colour as much to put prescription lenses in lol)
